For our first party of 2012 we welcome back one of our favourite ever past guests. Riton spent the most part of 2011 with the late and great DJ Mehdi (R.I.P. brother). Their stunning production and live work under the Carte Blanche name blessed many parties all over the globe. The tragic death of his best friend and one of our favourite ever DJs would have stopped most from continuing - but not Henry. Riton has gone on to produce, DJ, and has even found time to set up his own record label 'Ritontime'. Tonight we celebrate the life of the brilliant DJ Mehdi and dedicate this party to him. Upstairs, men of the moment, Amp + Deck, chief blogger Sloth Boogie, and a whole host of other fantastic selectors. We strongly advise getting down early for this one, as its gonna get packed! Oh yes, and rumour has it the Queen's winter teepee will be open on the roof. Mine's a mulled cider! See you under the lasers. RITON Tim Hinson

As Christmas rolls in one more year, we gather our gifts and give to you our biggest party of the year.
Joining us on the decks will be the mighty HEY TODAY! With releases on Turbo, Kitsune, Lektroluv and his remixes for Tiga and Punks Jump up being played by everyone includin Erol, 2 Many Djs, Digitalism and probably even your little sister. Support comes from Nottingham house troop The Giraffe the Pelly and Us and Will Green's (Joe and will ask?) new project Wax Cotton, not to mention our long time friend We're not Cool.
Of course the upstairs bar plays host to a larger number of close friends and djs, taking things just that little bit slower and deeper.

Our secret guest selector on Saturday is so freaking regal and huge that I can't wait to see the swaying, jam-packed floor come 1am.
Let's do this!

It's imperative that all club-loving London heads reach out to the opening LOVE HATE party on Friday the 1st of July at the Egg - it's sure to be a corker.
We'll be tearing up the house room alongside Snap, Crackle & Pop DJs. Bingo.
"A hyper-fusion of sounds, styles and sexuality create the turbulent vortex of the London scene, LOVE HATE will become the eye, simultaneously teetering on the edge of destruction and creation, sampling and reconstructing from the wrecks and wastes of London’s ever changing cultural landscape. Take a ride on the whirlwind that is LOVE HATE and peer into the future sounds of London!"

We're currently going crazy with the anticipation of the next party on Saturday 4th June at our spiritual home - The Queen of Hoxton (it just wouldn't feel correct anywhere else). Miles is preparing a strictly all-vinyl selection as we speak, whilst Alex (aka Kiwi) is gathering his best dancefloor ammunition for the basement.
Whilst you're here, download this superb track from our headliner on the night Grum! See you under the lights.
Keenhouse - Ar-ies (Grum Remix) by GRUM
From the Queen of Hoxton:
"Still recovering from their epic birthday party, which saw Matt Walsh, Joe and Will Ask?, Rachel Barton, Stopmakingme and Maxxi Soundsytem all rock up for a turn on our decks. Even Annie Mac got her groove on in our sweat pit dance floor! For this June we welcome three very special guests that we have been supporting for years. Sheffield’s, chief electro selector Grum headlines the bill, flying in all the way from Japan - Das Moth and finally London’s remix monster Tronik Youth! Expect another one in one out rave."
Open from 12pm / DJs from 8pm – 2am / £3 concession, £5 with a flyer, £7 others

This is the forthcoming release from My Love Is Underground, and boy does it sound like a bomb. Avaliable only at the label's debut UK party this coming Friday the 13th, it somehow manages to sound completely fresh whilst at the same time doffing a cap to the hacylon days of early '90s house flavours, à la Kerri Chandler, Eddie Perez and Ed The Red.
Tickets here.
